I know what you're thinking, "But Pinterest is already great! Look at all the people that are using it"

We agree - and that's why our reseller brand, MobiFriendly, already has an account > http://pinterest.com/mobifriendly/
But what happens when people want to go beyond simply Pinning an image? And what happens when they want to do this from the iPhone App, Android App, or from m.pinterest.com?
Social media is most widely used on mobile devices, and Pinterest is no exception. The user experience on mobile is not much different from the experience on the desktop website.
When a user clicks on a Pin, they have the option to Repin, Like, or Comment on it, or they can click on the image and be directed to the website where it originated.
This feature is excellent for companies who have mobile optimized websites. Consumers can access all of their information, find a physical location, and even order the products that were pinned!
However, if the consumer is directed to a website that they can't navigate on their phone, they are likely to open up a new window and go to a competitor's mobile-friendly website to find an item similar to the one that was pinned.
Bad Example:
You like this decor, so you decide to click on it to see what else the original author has to offer. Then you are directed to a desktop version of a blog. Instead of being able to subscribe to the blog, or save it to your phone's home screen, you immediately click the close button and continue browsing Pinterest. Fail on the blogger's end.
>>
Good Example:
You see a hand bag that you love. You click the handbag in hopes of being able to find out where to purchase it. The company selling the bag is mobile! You add the bag to your shopping cart and checkout. Success!
