Are you going to flip out?

Motorola is about release the 2.8-inch Flipout (AT&T) that pivots open a keyboard. It comes in different colors and looks somewhat similar to the now-defunct Microsoft Kin One (and also the new iPod Nano). There are two significant drawbacks to the Flipout. First, it runs Android 2.1 (and not 2.2), and second, its screen format is square making it awkward for apps.

Also releaseing this fall are myTouch by HTC (T-Mobile), Droid Pro by Morotola (Verizon), Transform by Samsung (Sprint), Flipside by Motorola (AT&T), Optimus by LG (T-Mobile), Citrus by Motorola (Verizon) and Zip by Sanyo (Sprint).
