
Samsung has just released details on a 7" Android 2.2-based tablet called Galaxy. It is rumored to be released in Europe in 2 weeks but will not arrive in the US for a couple of months. Here is a quick list of features:

- Slim -.47 inch profile (the iPad is 0.50 inch)
- A8 Cortex 1.0 GHz processor with 3D graphics processor

- DivX-certified (first of its kind)
- Android OS 2.2 (FroYo)
- Capable of supporting Adobe Flash 10.1
- ActiveSync support for Exchange
- Facebook events, Google calendar, Outlook support (calendar)
- 2 sizes - 16G and 8G
- microSD expansion slot capable of 32G extra storage
- 3 Megapixel Camera with LED Flash with video (720x480 @30fps)
- 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera
- 30-pin doc connector, volume control, SIM card slot (US version may not have SIM-card slot as it may got to CDMA - Verizon)
