White House Launches Mobile Website

The White House released a mobile version of their website today. While the user interface is simple and non-rich, it works nicely on the small format of mobile devices. Also, the main White House site has device detection and redirection script on it.

The White House launched an iPhone app a couple of months back. There is no word on an app for the Android or Blackberry platforms. The White House is also boasting compatibility for its desktop website on the soon-to-be-released Apple iPad.
